How do I change my profile settings?

Tap the settings icon ⚙️ in the top right of your profile screen.

Native language

Set your native language so Loora can provide translations in the right language when you use the Translate button during lessons.

App language

The language the app menus and buttons are shown in. We recommend keeping this in English for a fully immersive experience — but you can change it if you need to.

Learning goals

Choose what you want to use English for — advance your career, prepare for travel, chat with friends and family, and more. Selecting your goals helps Loora tailor your conversations to what matters most to you.

Areas of interest

Choose the topics you enjoy talking about — Business, Technology, Travel, Sports, Science, and more. Loora uses your interests to pick relevant conversation topics. Learning is more effective when you are talking about things you actually care about.

Lesson settings

Tap Lesson Settings to customize:

• Lesson sound effects — turn on or off
• English type — American or British English
• Speaking speed — Normal (1x), Relaxed (0.7x), or Slow (0.5x)
• Loora's voice — Classic, Warm, Casual, Calm, and more
