Loora speaks too fast. How can I slow her down?
During a conversation — instant
Tap the snail icon 🐌 under any of Loora's messages. This slows her down immediately for that message.
In settings — permanent
- Go to Profile → Settings → Lesson Settings → Speaking Speed
- Choose your speed:
- Normal (1x) — how most English speakers talk in real life
- Relaxed (0.7x) — slightly slower
- Slow (0.5x) — for beginners or when learning new vocabulary
Start at Relaxed or Slow if Normal feels too fast. Gradually move toward Normal as your listening improves — understanding speech at natural speed is an important part of becoming fluent.
