How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancel through the same platform you used to subscribe. If you are not sure which platform you used, check your inbox for a receipt — Apple, Google Play, or Paddle (help@paddle.com)

iPhone / iPad - App Store

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find Loora and tap Cancel Subscription

Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that.

If you do not see a "Cancel" button, your subscription is already cancelled. You will see an expiry date instead - this is normal.

Android - Google Play

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Tap your profile icon (top right)
  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
  4. Find Loora and tap "Cancel Subscription"

Your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after that.

If you do not see a "Cancel" button, your subscription is already cancelled. You will see an expiry date instead — this is normal.

Our website - Paddle

  1. Go to Paddle.net
  2. Click "Look up my purchase"
  3. Enter the email address you used when subscribing
  4. You will receive an email with a management link
  5. Open the link and click "Cancel subscription"

If you do not see a "Cancel" button, your subscription is already cancelled. You will see an expiry date instead — this is normal.

I already canceled — what happens now?

You keep full access to Loora until the end of the billing period you paid for. After that, the app locks and you will not be charged again.

You do not need to do anything else. Your account and lesson history are saved — if you resubscribe later, everything will still be there.

I canceled, but I was still charged

This happens in two situations:

  1. The charge was for a period prior to your cancellation: canceling stops future renewals — it does not refund the current period. The charge you see is for the billing period that was already active when you canceled.
  2. You canceled too late: subscriptions renew automatically. If you canceled less than 24 hours before your renewal date, the next charge may have already been processed.

For Apple purchases, you can request a refund directly at reportaproblem.apple.com

Important: canceling does not delete your account. Your progress, lesson history, and saved words are all kept.
