What are the gems for?
Gems are the points you collect as you practice. For now you collect them, and soon you will be able to spend them inside the app.
How to earn gems
- Complete your daily lesson: 10 gems
- Use the daily word in your conversation: 5 gems
- Get perfect pronunciation or grammar in Practice Zone: varies
- Win a position in the weekly leagues: 7–20 gems
What you can do with them
Using gems is coming soon. You will be able to use them for unlocking additional features inside the app, and they will not cost you anything on top of your subscription. Until then, keep practicing and keep collecting: the gems you earn now stay in your account and will be waiting for you.
Your gems are saved to your account and they do not expire.
