How does Loora measure progress?

Loora tracks your progress through your conversations, not through tests or quizzes.

Your skills triangle

At the end of every lesson you get a score on three skills: grammar, fluency, and pronunciation. They are shown together as a triangle, so you can see at a glance which side is strongest and which one still needs work.

The same triangle appears in your Profile, but there it shows your average across all your lessons rather than a single one. Watch it over a few weeks: as your lesson scores rise, the triangle in your Profile grows with them.

What Loora measures

How you notice progress

As you improve, Loora uses more complex grammar and richer vocabulary with you. The conversations get harder. This is the clearest signal that you are advancing.

Your key takeaways also reflect progress — corrections that appeared often early on will stop appearing as you fix them.
