What is the Read and Talk?

Read and Talk gives you a short article to read and then lets you talk about it! It's your chance to read engaging articles on current topics and then have a real conversation with Loora about what you've just read.

What makes it special?

Real topics, real conversations

Read articles about what's happening in the world right now - technology, culture, lifestyle, current events, and more. These aren't boring textbook passages - they're updated, relevant content that gives you something genuinely interesting to discuss.

Discussion, not a test

This isn't about answering comprehension questions or proving you understood the article. It's about sharing your thoughts, opinions, and reactions - just like you would with a friend over coffee. There are no right or wrong answers here.

Build your discussion skills

Learn to express opinions, agree and disagree politely, ask questions, and engage in deeper conversations. These are the skills that take you beyond basic English into fluent, confident communication.

Vocabulary in context

Pick up new words and phrases naturally as you read, then immediately practice using them in conversation. Seeing vocabulary in a real article and then discussing it is one of the most effective ways to make new language stick.

Think and speak in English

Read and Talk encourages you to think critically about topics in English, not just translate from your native language. This helps you develop that "think in English" skill that fluent speakers have.

Personalize your learning

Choose articles that interest you. Whether you're into sports, science, entertainment, or business, there's something for everyone. Learning is easier when you actually care about what you're discussing!

How does it work?

Pick an article that catches your eye, read it at your own pace, and then dive into a conversation with Loora about it. Share what you thought, ask questions, or explore the topic deeper - wherever the conversation naturally goes. As always, you'll get helpful feedback along the way.
