What is the daily word?

Each day, Loora gives you a new word to learn and practice. Every word comes from a curated list designed by our pedagogical team, made up of words that come up often in everyday spoken English. Learning them helps you sound more natural and express yourself more precisely.

Use the daily word in your conversation to earn 5 gems and help it stick.

1.It appears at the start of a lesson
Your Daily Word appears at the start of each lesson. Tap Got it when you're ready to talk, and try using the word in the lesson.
2.Find it again with the checkmark
During the lesson, tap the checkmark in the top bar to see today’s Daily Word without leaving the conversation.
3.After you use it, it's saved on the Me tab
After you use the Daily Word in a lesson, it's saved to My daily words on the Me tab.
4.Use it to earn gems
Using the Daily Word in your conversation earns you 5 gems, and it helps the word stick.
5.Practice any word, anytime
Go to Practice tab → Practice pronunciation and type any word to hear it and practice saying it. You can also save any word Loora says: press and hold it, then tap Save.
