Key Takeaways: one actionable insight per lesson, so it actually sticks

After every conversation, Loora analyses your conversation and picks one correction or improvement to boost your English and turns it into a short exercise.

We built Key Takeaways to fix the most common problem with feedback: you get too much of it, and remember none of it. Now every conversation ends with one correction – one correction for maximum impact.

What the Key Takeaways feature does

At the end of each lesson, Loora surfaces a single Takeaway – the one thing from this conversation worth focusing on. It could be a grammar pattern you kept getting wrong, a word you reached for but couldn’t quite use naturally, or a pronunciation sound worth drilling. Loora analyses your conversation and picks one correction or improvement to boost your English.

Each Takeaway comes with a set of practice cards – a short exercise where you speak the correction out loud. Get it right and you earn a star. A learning experience that takes about 90 seconds.

You can save any Takeaway to the Practice tab and come back to it later. Your full history is always there.

Three types of Takeaways

Depending on what Loora identified as a maximum impact improvement in the lesson, you’ll get one of three types:

  • Vocabulary. A word or phrase that could be improved for precision. You’ll see the natural version, understand why it works, and practice using it in context.
  • Grammar. A pattern that keeps tripping you up. You’ll get a clear explanation and speak a few sentences to make it stick.
  • Pronunciation. A sound that’s holding you back. You’ll see exactly where to place your tongue or shape your mouth, and practice until Loora hears it clearly.

Why one correction works better than ten

Getting ten corrections at the end of a lesson sounds useful. In practice, you skim them, close the app, and remember none of them. One correction you drill is worth more than ten you scroll past.

Takeaways are built around that idea: focused improvements. Maximum impact.

How to try it

Finish any conversation in the app – Check out your story while Loora loads the takeway and then access it from the homescreen. Tap it, go through the practice cards, earn your star. To revisit saved Takeaways, open the Practice tab.

What is a Key Takeaway in Loora?

A Key Takeaway is a single correction Loora selects after each lesson — the one thing that will have the biggest impact on your English right now. It comes with a short practice exercise and can be saved to the Practice tab for later review.

What types of Key Takeaways are there?

There are three types: vocabulary (words and phrases that can be improved), grammar (patterns that keep coming up), and pronunciation (sounds worth drilling). Loora picks the type based on what came up in your specific lesson.

How does Loora decide which mistake to focus on?

Loora analyzes the full conversation — grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation — generates several candidates, and selects the one correction with the highest impact based on your current level and what you’ve already worked on.

Can I review past Key Takeaways?

Yes. Tap any Takeaway on your home screen to open it, or find your full history below the current lesson card. You can also save Takeaways to the Practice tab and come back to them anytime.
