My microphone isn't working / Loora can't hear me

The most common cause: tapping instead of holding

Loora uses Push-to-Talk by default. You must hold the button the entire time you are speaking.

  1. Press and hold the microphone button
  2. Speak while holding it — do not release until you are finished
  3. Release when you finish speaking

If you tap and release quickly, Loora does not capture your voice.

Prefer not to hold the button? Switch to Hands-Free mode

  1. Look for the toggle button next to the microphone icon
  2. Switch from Push-to-Talk to Hands-Free
  3. Tap once to start → speak → tap again to stop

Check microphone permissions

On iPhone: Settings → Loora → Microphone — make sure it is turned on (green).

On Android: Settings → Apps → Loora → Permissions → Microphone — make sure it is set to Allow.
